JVC to Implement RealD 3D Technologies

JVC KENWOOD Holdings, Inc. announced an agreement with RealD to develop and market professional 3D-imaging devices for various fields including motion pictures.

According to the statement, JVC KENWOOD expects to develop and sell 3D products, such as 3D LCD monitors, that combine the audio-visual technologies of its subsidiary, Victor Company of Japan, Ltd. (JVC), with the 3D creation and playback technologies of RealD, as well as to incorporate RealD-patented property in JVC other products.

JVC is expected to exhibit an all-new professional 3D product, the first resulting from its partnership with RealD, at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas from January 7 to 10.
