In this presentation, Insight Research Group will explore the psychological drivers that inform the mobile consumer’s behaviors and decision making processes. We’ll learn about the positive and negative role mobile is playing in consumers’ lives and how we, as content creators and distributors, can optimize the platform to engage and connect with our audiences by providing rich, empowering experiences that meet their needs. New Storytelling Machines: this panel will examine the different kinds of storytelling that Hollywood and other creatives have been telling with the mobile platform, from mobisodes, to marketing-inspired games and extra content, to transmedia. IDC forecasts that 50 million tablets will ship globally this year alone. This panel will explore the role video games will play in this space and how these new tablets are going to directly compete with the traditional console.
