Microboards Ends Support for Legacy Systems

Microboards Technology announced that, as of March 1, 2012, it will discontinue hardware repair service and support for its optical disc labeling and publishing systems that employ Hewlett-Packard’s Deskjet 6122 inkjet printing engine.

HLDS Executives Do Time for Optical Disc Drive Price Fixing

The U.S. Department of Justice announced that three executives from Hitachi-LG Data Storage (HLDS) have agreed to plead guilty and serve prison time in the United States for their participation in a series of conspiracies to rig bids and fix prices for the sale of optical disc drives.

Pioneer Launches BDR-207JBK Blu-ray BDXL Writer
