DisplayLink and I-O DATA Announce First 4K USB Graphics Adapter at Computex 2014

PALO ALTO, Calif. & KANAZAWA, Japan — DisplayLink®, the leading provider of USB Graphics technology and I-O DATA DEVICE, INC., a leading peripheral device company, today announced that both parties are developing the World’s First 4K USB Graphics Adapter using DisplayLink’s award winning DL-5500 USB Graphics Chipset.

I-O DATA’s new 4K universal graphics adapter is the first shipping USB 3 UHD solution globally and brings universal graphics expansion to displays with resolutions up to 3840×2160 pixels via a single USB cable connection to the host and a DisplayPort connection to the monitor.
