Purchase Your Tickets Now for CVA FanFest!
August 31, 2015 (Toronto, ON) Tickets are now on sale for the 6th Annual Canadian Videogame Awards (CVAs) and CVA FanFest, a fan-centric, two-day celebration of interactive entertainment December 5th and 6th at the Ryerson Mattamy Athletic Centre in downtown Toronto.
There are a variety of tickets available, including an individual day pass, an individual weekend pass or a weekend group pass. You can also purchase tickets for the 6th Annual Canadian Videogame Awards or add on a pass to any FanFest package. Fans can purchase tickets by clicking here or through ticketmaster.
Participate in the Game Competition at CVA FanFest
Interested in putting your gaming skills to the test? The producers of the CVA’s are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a game competition titled the Canadian League of Gamers (CLG) during CVA FanFest. Games to be played include Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Seige and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. More game competitions to be announced soon. Attendees wishing to participate in the game competition are required to purchase a weekend pass for CVA FanFest in order to be in attendance for all game competitions. 6th Annual Canadian Videogame Awards
Nominations are still open for the CVAs for work developed in Canada and released between November 1, 2014 and October 31, 2015 and are welcome from all parts of Canada’s diverse gaming industry. The Call for Nominations will close at midnight on October 31, 2015.
Award categories and criteria, as established by a committee of industry leaders from across Canada, can be found here.
Finalists in all categories will be announced November 16, 2015, when public voting for the Fans’ Choice Award will open.
The Canadian Videogame Awards are co-founded by Reboot Communications and EP Media, produced by Reboot Communications and Swaf Media, and officially endorsed by the Entertainment Software Association of Canada, Interactive Ontario and DigiBC.
